Jsnip4:
He said Sharon Michelle texted him about Coronavirus:
-In countries of Africa and countries bordering China and Middle East will hit hard. Asians are hit the hardest. Caucasians not as much. US is getting hit but not as bad as China. It will be worse next winter than this year. People definitely need to prepare as much as possible and don’t take unnecessary chances.

-Virus is a mutating machine. A virus is made up of a set of genetic code that surrounded by proteins which enable it to interact with cells that it wants to attack. The receptors of the protein are what give a virus the entry to the cells. Once it enters the cells, the virus hijack the cellular mechanism to replicate its genetic codes until there is so much virus in the cell that the cell bursts.
-When there is a threat to the virus, the genetic code changes those proteins so what we think it works today will not work for the next round of virus.
-So as long as few virus to survive the attack, they will change and mutate and we will have to come up with something new.
-When people got attacked for the 2nd time, it’s harder for them to deal with it because they haven’t recovered from the 1st attack and their immune system is weak and out of alignment. (12:15)
-Inflammation is good for the body until is out of whack and too much. In normal circumstances, the cell has a mechanism that will make sure the body know when it has enough inflammation and when to stop. However, the Covid-19, like the Spanish Flu in 1918 , somehow destroys the body’s stop mechanism!
-The doctor also suspected that the Covid-19 virus like the Spanish Flu destroys the cell ‘s SOS(求救信號) signal resulting a lot of asymptomatic carrier (無狀帶原者)。
-Fact: In Washington state as of today there are 11 death and 32 confirmed cases. The death rate is 24%. (11/32)
-This death % seems too high measured against the generally accepted number of 2%. Either the death rate is too high or the confirmed cases are too low. Most likely the confirmed cases are under-stated taking into account that there has been no test kits that work for 6 weeks!
-If 11 people die @2% death rate, that means at least 550 people could be infected.
-If we take that and apply a R0 = 4.7-6.6, then 550*5(using lower end number)=2750
-So we know based on this analysis, there should be a lot more of people that are infected.
-It is unusual for a virus to jump species and cohabitate. It is unusual for it to infect both human and animal. Human and animal share the same protein receptor. It just depends on whether the switch on that receptor is on or off.
-One scientist did a temperature study across the countries that reported confirm cases. The virus exists in the range from 30F-90+F. It is doubtful this will die down in the summer time due to high temperature.
-Vaccines The vaccine for Ebola made it worse than getting the real Ebola. The vaccine for SARS made it so if you get it next time it is as bad as if you don’t have it.
-It takes 2 year to develop a vaccine. Any fast-track vaccine is horrible for human to endure.
-HIV is a DNA virus. Even that it mutates every 6 months on average and that is considered a fairly stable virus. They still haven’t developed a vaccine to block the HIV virus in terms of infecting the cell or replicating in the cell. It has been 40 years.
-Polio virus is stable and it goes back to Egyptian time.
-RNA virus is known for mutating fast to protect itself. There is why there is no cure for common cold because it mutates so fast. It’s similar to Coronavirus but there are differences.
-The mechanism and the speed of infection are faster in Coronavirus. Coronavirus as group is known for mutating like crazy. That’s probably why it is chosen as bio-weapon. To say they are going to have a vaccine in even 2 years is highly doubtful.
