20190823-Pakistan v India-Amazon Forest-Arms Control among the Big Three
Whatdoesitmean
-A worrisome new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today noting Pakistan predicting that a “false flag” attack from India is going to set off a war between these two nuclear armed countries
-While at the same time, global alarms are being raised as massive fires consume “the lungs of the world” Amazon Forest to such an extent that Ireland is now threatening to sink the EU-South American trade deal alliance unless Brazil does something to stop this fiery apocalypse.
-As grave as these catastrophes are, they pale in comparison to the fact that the future of humankindnow depends on an arms control dialogue between Russia and the United States—a dialogue that ended in failure yesterday during talks held between Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and his American counterpart Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford.
-Because of this failure, President Putin ordering this morning the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately begin analyzing potential American threats and to formulate an appropriate symmetrical response against them.
-Most particularly the growing threat posed by US-NATO fighter aircraft and bombers which, during this past week alone, has seen Russian fighter jets having to be scrambled 20 times to intercept them—all of which is coming at the same time the last remaining nuclear arms treaty between the US and Russia is now being warned is in risk of collapsing.
—The arms race was mitigated by a series of nuclear weapons agreements signed between the US and Soviet Union—but whose main consequence of saw the former Soviet Union economically imploding and dissolving due to a growing rebellion of its citizens who could no longer tolerate both a military and civilian economy existing at the same time.
-However, these nuclear arms agreements , this report points out, did not include Communist China—who, for the past nearly 30-years, has maintained the largest and longest sustained military buildup in the post-Cold War world—which includes its having produced thousands of nuclear weapons and the US expecting them to quickly double them as fast as they can—none of which are constrained by the nuclear agreements the US signed with Russia
-China today declaring that it “will never join an arms control deal with the US and Russia”—thus causing the US to scrap all of its nuclear arms control deals with Russia (who took them over from the former Soviet Union) so they can defend themselves against China.
