20190513-Bitcoin Ben price prediction-BAKKT-EBAY-Gemini-SPEDN-Kroger

Bitcoin Ben’s price prediction:

-His price prediction from his contact Joe.

-5/12/19 He said Joe predicted BTC at $8000 in 2 weeks.  It already hit that today.   Joe said he originally think 1 week but added 1 more week for cushion.

-Joe said 15K in 9 months (Jan 2020)

-Joe analyzed actual blockchain volume and transactions since its inception.  He is not a chartist and believes only blockchain will paint the real picture of BTC transaction.

-Joe said LTC over $100 within 2 weeks. (Wendy:  LTC has hit 92.89 within past 12 hrs.  So I think maybe 1 week?  )

Chepicap:

-Two types of BTC futures are coming very soon.   Bakkt will introduce two new Bitcoin futures contracts in a federally regulated futures exchange in the coming months: a daily settlement Bitcoin future which will enable customers to transact in a same-day market, and a monthly Bitcoin futures contract that enables traders 'trading in the front month and across the forward pricing curve.'

-Bakkt to begin testing BTC trading, futures and custody in July.

-Thanks to a photograph from the ongoing annual Consensus conference in New York, it's been revealed that eBay may soon accept cryptocurrency… or even create one.

-Gemini partnered up with payment startup Flexa to enable major retailers to accept cryptocurrency payments in store.

-The partnership appears to be more attractive for merchants this time around, as Gemini, which is a digital asset exchange, will handle the conversion on their side and the merchant will receive the fiat equivalent of the cryptocurrency payment, something that was not available before. Merchants in the past were against accepting cryptocurrencies due to the volatility in the market.
-Key benefits to retailers now include additional methods of accepting payments, as well as minimized commission fees for payments received.

-The SPEDN mobile wallet app already launched today, and lets you pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Gemini USD. Big companies are involved, with Crate and Barrel, Nordstrom, Starbucks and Whole Foods now accepting four different cryptocurrencies.

-Kroger, the U.S supermarket chain has announced that its Smith's Food and Drug Stores division will stop accepting Visa credit card payments from April 3, due to excessive transaction fees. (Wendy:  This is very interesting, because there is rumor that DGB’s secret major partner is Kroger, the US Supermarket chain.)

-Earlier today, Bitcoin trader Tone Vays said that he expects BTC to go all the way up to $9400 if it would break $7500, which it did. 'There is nothing in between there', Vays said
