-He set up a HODL model portfolio where he uses his own 25 BTC@$4000USD, a total of $100K USD as a guide to show how he manages some of his BTC on a more long-term basis.  (5:11) 。

How much should you buy?   Or what he is doing?

-Mindset – to take advantage of BTC 4-year cycle opportunity to be significantly financial free but not filthy rich.    In other words, don’t be too greedy!

-No more than 10% of his liquid assets will be allocated to this BTC hodl strategy.   He doesn’t believe BTC will be the world reserve currency.  Doesn’t believe it will replace the government currencies.   Therefore he thinks allocationg over over 10% is unnecessary, over 20% is reckless.

-He does believe that BTC will hold a significant store of value and may more than the value of gold.   It will have a significant place in the global financial system.

-He still wants to hold businesses, gold and silver, real estate, stocks.  This is only one component of his overall investment and wealth strategy.

-The points to take profit is when BTC=15K, 60K (15:35), 100K, 150K.

-Risk mitigation strategy – 1st determine the allocation %

-Never look at BTC from a daily chart perspective.   News like Tether from yesterday is just noice for a long-term holder.

-He only plays with BTC and not whole bunch other coins because it’s still the leader and commands 50% of the total crypto market capitalization after 10 years!

20190114-Bitmain-BTC goes down to $1800?

Crypto Cowboy: Problem with BTC space – centralization of the BTC.       The 6 biggest mining companies in the world are calling the shots and they are mostly Chinese.   Also big banks are entering the space.    Right now it looks like Bitmain is going down.
