Boxming – He is pretty skeptical, because too big of project.  It is supposed to have 3-D printing, airports on the blockchains….etc

Omar – This city is so far-fatched, unrealistic!    First of all, he doesn’t believe you need a blockchains to build the city, maybe certain aspects of the city, but not an entire city to build around blackchains.  The four big projects within this blockchains city are so unrelated that they are just going to burn a lot of money and not creating synergy.   So far they spent a lot money on marketing and advertising.  This Blockchains sounded more like the ICO in 2017, big promise but weak execution.

Blockchains LLC-

-They run the city mostly on ETH.  But they will run more than one type of blockchains.

-In January this year, a tax law is implemented that created tax breaks to encourage investments in innovative technology.  If qualified, an investor will enjoy 10 years of no capital tax if he holds the profits and not spend it for 10 years!!

-Living in Blockchains City, you own your ID, your information;   Your physical house address will be linked to a wallet.   Your house is hooked up to a smart meter that will read the usage of your water, electricity, gas and charge you REAL time.    You will drive a car that’s self-driving.
Someone said :  “Everything you do will track you via blockchains.”  

I personally probably don’t want to live in a blockchains city.   I don’t want to be like a little robot being tracked on the main computer.

20190114-Bitmain-BTC goes down to $1800?

Crypto Cowboy: Problem with BTC space – centralization of the BTC.       The 6 biggest mining companies in the world are calling the shots and they are mostly Chinese.   Also big banks are entering the space.    Right now it looks like Bitmain is going down. Bitmain – has gone through a lot changes due to price volatility, political pressure, regulations 。。。 -Two CEO/founders are going to step down. -closing its 500 million project in Austin, Texas -closing its Israeli research and development office  -cutting up to 50 percent of its staff  Probably because of it, there are a lot of big dormant wallets (50 – 100+ BTC) that are becoming active and more on the selling side.    However, a lot of these wallets are active in the OTC market not retail but their activity might still affect the prices in the retail markets.   So in the short-term, BTC price might even go down to $1800 .   If it does, Crypto Cowboy thinks it’s a go...
